Disabled Children

Our child rehabilitation activities follow the method of community rehabilitation programme, which ultimately aims at the holistic approach making the parents capable to take both financial support and attending to the growth and health related problems of their disabled children.

We provide suitable counselling to the parents of disabled children as also to the community at large to accord special care and respect to the rights of disabled children.to take adequate care.

At Vikas Sansthan we have a regular Rehabilitation Centre where disabled children are housed for proper physiotherapy treatment and medical care. We have adequately trained our staff as re takers and physiotherapists who attend to the children, get them regularly checked up by the medical experts and counsel their parents.

We maintain growth or improvement records on the disabled children, as to how they are progressing, ,how their parents are taking care of them. We help them in availing disability pensions by first obtaining medical certificates declaring the degree of disability for deciding the amount of pension, which enables their parents to take better care.
